NewJeans (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein) became the first K-pop group to grace the cover of the global fashion and lifestyle magazine 'Highsnobiety.'

On the 26th, 'Highsnobiety' unveiled the US edition cover for the June/July issue featuring NewJeans through their official website.

'Highsnobiety' introduced NewJeans as a K-pop group that is showcasing unprecedented activities. They acknowledged the hype surrounding NewJeans' debut song "Hype boy" dance challenge and their record-breaking debut album sales in the first week of release, stating that "all this happened within less than a year."

The magazine further expressed, "In an industry filled with fantastic and mysterious idols, NewJeans evoke nostalgia, familiarity, and tenderness like childhood friends. They are free from conventions both visually and musically."

In an interview with 'Highsnobiety,' NewJeans shared their thoughts on challenges, direction, and goals. Minji stated, "Challenging ourselves in various fields is what NewJeans does best, and we want to continue doing that consistently in the future."
